Gotta work on my punny titles....

Hey there, world.  I figured I'd kick off this blog with a 'something more' rather than just a sketch.
This was my final for my Storyboarding class.    It stars my character Default the raccoon, and the as of yet unnamed feline unfortunate enough to have caught his eye.
I designed Default to use whenever I try something new.  His design is really simple and flexible, and he can be bipedal or quadrupedal, so whatever I want to practice I can do it with him.  That's where he gets his name.

For this assignment we had to effectively portray at least one shift in color to reflect the mood.

Looking back at the title, I can practically hear the crickets chirping already.
I realize that when I describe these to I refer to them both with masculine pronouns. In truth, I really don't see them as either gender.  I purposefully kept them androgynous, so it's really up to the viewer mind to decide whether they be male or female.

  1. I remember seeing this in class and thinking how awesome it was! Wonderful flow of story, and I also liked them staying androgynous as well.
